Preach it brother Manning; expose the festering, seeping wound…Let us not cover it with hip-hop, jive, fancy moves and black culture. For too long these methods have

been our antidote, our self proscribed medication to prevent us

from looking too closely at the horror of our blackness. We our adverse to exposure.

We’d rather rock our head to the beat of some fool singing about raping a sister,

killing her baby, and drugging the next generation to have the misfortune of being born

to a black man. Yes, we will rock and roll and sway our hips to that nonsense.

But let somebody come along like pastor Manning, and surgically cut us open to expose the worthlessness of our heretofore existence, and we stand ready to

kill…

So I’m here to commend you brother Manning; and ask you to preach it. Don’t stop preaching it. As I once heard a Pastor say, it’s too soon to quit…Not when we

have yet to rouse from our lethargy.
