Mission to China

The Hon. James David Manning and the wonderful Elizabeth Sarah Manning visited the nation of China along with 22 students and teachers for a 10-day educational experience.
The group left on Tuesday, 12 July 2005 aboard a 747, for a 14-hour flight to Beijing, the capital of China. Their mission was to discover and experience the culture of China, and expose the young people to another lifestyle.
China is a nation comprised of resilient people with a willingness to advance, and China has produced the greatest number of graduate degree students and scholars.
The ATLAH High School students and teachers were able to observe a nation full of innovative and industrious people, rich and ornate architecture, as well as the embodiment of a culture steeped in a myriad of ancestry and traditional values.
