Our Mission Statement

ATLAH World Missionary Church
The Bethelite Community Baptist Church was organized on the 10th of June, 1957, by the late Reverend Millard Alexander Stanley.

In early June, just a few days before the first worship service was held, Pastor Stanley was sitting out before a storefront on 8th Avenue in Harlem. A local heroin drug addict spoke to him and said," If y’all gonna be a church, you better; "Be-The-Lite." Thus, the mission was formed in the statement and the name, Bethelite.

The ATLAH World Missionary Church has become the evangelistic, missionary arm of the parent church, Bethelite.

We Believe:

In God the Father, the Creator God of all the created and spiritual universe. The God of the Holy Bible who declared in Exodus 20:2-6, "I am the Lord thy God, which has brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage."

In Jesus, the only begotten Son of God, John 3:16, the promised Messiah, the Savior of the world, and soon coming King. That the death on the cross of Calvary and the resurrection of Jesus was and is indeed the only way of salvation, the perfect plan of redemption, and the full propitiation of the sins of mankind. "And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved." Acts 2:21

We further believe in the Holy Spirit, known in the scriptures as the Spirit of Truth, John 16:13. That He is the completion of the Holy Trinity; enabling any man, woman or child to live a saved, empowered, and meaningful life in this kingdom; and to enjoy eternal life in the world to come. We additionally believe in the full use of the gifts of the Holy Spirit and the use of the five-fold ministry listed in I Corinthians 12:1-11 and Ephesians 4:11-16.

We adamantly believe in the Holy Bible, that it is the full truth of God; written by men inspired by the Holy Ghost, with authority and empowerment in its purpose; restoration of the family of God is its view, and the truth without any mixture of error as its creed.
II Timothy 3:16-17

Expanding the Kingdom of God on Earth

Our Mission is as follows:

As a fellowship of baptized believers in the Lord Jesus Christ, we purpose to love the Lord with all our heart, soul and mind, and to love our neighbor as our self.
Matthew 22:37-40.

We further commit to carry out the great commission given by Jesus in Matthew 28:18-20. This body of believers has committed to devote all possible energy, and resources, to publicize the gospel of Jesus, and to make disciples of all nations.

Our Mission was given immediate focus on the 14th September 1991, when the Lord Jesus Christ in a vision during prayer, instructed Pastor Manning to change the name of Harlem, (The world’s most famous ghetto) from Harlem, to, ATLAH: ALL THE LAND ANOINTED HOLY. To empower a people who sat in darkness to become a light to all the world.

"ATLAH: THAT’S WHAT GOD SAID."
Anointed to establish families, churches and businesses, unlike any the world hath seen. Indeed the final product of the land, ATLAH, will boast of being the seat of the world’s banking, business, and education centers.

The name ATLAH was given scriptural authority by referencing Genesis 2:11, the city of Havilah; a biblical city where there is gold. Further referencing from the scriptures is Isaiah 62:4, in the Land of Beulah. You will notice both names have the common "LAH" ending. Further scriptural proof: Isaiah, Noah, Sarah, Deborah, Elijah, Jah, Jehovah, Messiah, Hallelujah, Jeremiah, Jonah, Moriah, Micah, Zephaniah, Puah, Hannah, Zechariah, and a host of other biblical names that end in "AH", ATLAH ends in "AH".

Pastor Manning was commissioned by the Lord God Almighty to go into Harlem and preach righteousness and the Lord God would clean that community from river to river. The streets would be so clean; one could take off your shoes and walk barefoot: That’s truly Holy Ground.

The message of righteousness would find a true and superior purpose to the doctrine of civil and racial strife. Verily, the Lord Jesus Christ would honor His word and return the fathers back to the homes and the children; as saved, employed, and contributing leaders to the families of the now suffering. Deuteronomy 28:9-10

The message of righteousness would also prompt a great awakening in the churches. When righteous men return to the House of Prayer, where Jesus is Lord, they will bring their wives and children with them.

Once these men have (A) Been saved and secure their homes, (B) Return to the church to honor the Lord Jesus Christ, (C) The awakening revival will cause the present problems of the community, to greatly diminish; from drug and alcohol abuse, crime, teen pregnancy, single parent homes, low performing schools, poverty, disease, sickness and high death rates associated with poverty and slums.

The message of righteousness is further prescribed to lead and train the members of the community to control and influence all economic, commercial and social strength of the land between the two rivers known as ATLAH. Deuteronomy 28:1-14

The Indigenous people are to be:

Presidents and owners of Banking Institutions.
(Deuteronomy 28:12)

Presidents and Chairmans of Multi-national Corporations.
(Deuteronomy 28:13)

Presidents and Publishers of media outlets.
(Deuteronomy 28:1-14)

Further, the mission preaches, each family should own their
own home. (Deuteronomy 28:1-11)

The Almighty God said that when this vision is complete the
entire world will have to witness the presence and power
of Jesus, because every one hath said; that nothing good
can come out of Harlem.
VERILY, "ATLAH: THAT’S WHAT GOD SAID."
