You cannot hide from the truth.
This usually happens within your youth.
You’re afraid to accept the good as well as the bad.
If you can’t face the truth of who you are, your life will be pretty sad.
From the truth you can never hide.
It is not something that you can brush aside.
There are no pills that you can take.
The joy that you feel is just an illusion, it will soon flake.
There is no liquor strong enough to drink.
Once it wears off, your joy will become extinct.
There is no hiding place for you to go.
If you don’t deal with your truth your sorrows will grow.
From the truth you cannot escape, you can travel to a distant land.
It doesn’t matter what you plan.
If you try to run, you will only hurt inside.
Remember Jonah, inside of a whale he had to ride.
In order for Jonah to find happiness, he had to obey God and face the truth.
You cannot run away all your life, that is uncouth.
You must first swallow your pride.
Then let the word of the Lord be your guide.
You must face the truth head on.
All attempts to forget the truth will be, forlorn,
If you want to grow, you must face it, though, it is painful!
Do not worry about the judgement of others, if they love you, they’ll forgive you!
If you run, you will run for the rest of your life, which is not wise.
It will quickly lead, to your demise.
Come clean before the Lord, with His help you will win.
Avoid living a life secretly in sin.
